✅ For travel companies ✅ For hotels
Editing locks will warn you when another user is editing the same trip as you to prevent you both from editing at the same time and changes not being saved.
How to use editing locks
- For editing locks to work, you need to have individual users set up in your account, and you can't be all logged in using the same credentials. Read our article on adding users here.
- This will also apply if you are editing a trip in more than one tab or window
- If you try to edit a trip that another person is editing or has open, you will receive a notification like the one below:
- If you press the FORCE TAKE OVER button, it will save their changes and you will then be the one that is able to edit the trip
- The other user will then be stopped from making any more edits, and will see the same notification letting them know someone else is editing this trip now
- If you do not want to force takeover, press the 'GO BACK' button to return to your Vamoos list
