Help my Vamoos isn't working!

App troubleshooting


  • Check the internet connection if you are trying to push an update through to the app


  • Hard close the app (on iPhone - swipe up a third of the way and then let go, you can then see all the apps you have open, swipe up on Vamoos to close it)


  • Ensure the user has the most up-to-date version of Vamoos installed (go to iOS or Google Play stores and see if there is a newer version to update)





Web Portal troubleshooting


  • If you are having any issues with the web portal, please try either force refreshing your browser or clearing your cookies as you may be using an old cached version of our portal.





Force refreshing your browser



Chrome + Windows/Linux

  • Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.
  • Or, Hold down Ctrl and press F5.


Chrome + Mac

  • Hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift key and then press R.
  • Or, hold ⇧ Shift and click the Reload button.


Safari

  • Hold down the Option + ⌘ Cmd key and then press the ‘E’ key.


Microsoft Edge

  • Hold the Ctrl key and click the Refresh button.
  • Or, hold the Ctrl key and press the F5 key.


Firefox + Windows/Linux

  • Hold down Ctrl and ⇧ Shift and then press R.
  • Or, hold the Ctrl key and press the F5 key.


Firefox + Mac

  • Hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift and then press R.
  • Or, hold down the ⇧ Shift and click the Reload button.





Clearing your cookies



On Chrome


1. Go to settings on Google Chrome & press privacy and security


2. Press ‘Third-party cookies’


3. See all site data and permissions


4. Press the bin icon next to Vamoos


5. Press ‘clear’ on the pop-up that appears




On Edge


1. In Edge, select Settings and More> Settings  > Cookies and Site permissions.


2. Under Cookies and data stored, select Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data and search for the Vamoos Portal


3. Select the down arrow to the right of the site whose cookies you want to delete and select Delete




On Safari


1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy.


2. Click Manage Website Data.


3. Select the Vamoos Portal, then click Remove or Remove All.
