What is Vamoos Connect?

At Vamoos we work with both travel professionals & hotels and Vamoos Connect is a collaborative platform that brings the two sides together. 

As a travel organising company, you can see our database of hotels and connect them to your itineraries. The hotel profile will appear behind your itinerary on the app, and will provide additional details to your customers about the places they will be staying.

Previewing and amending property content

• You can preview the hotel content in the portal before linking it to a trip, and if you'd like to you can amend the descriptions slightly. Go to Settings in the menu bar at the top and then click on Connect

• You can then search for or browse the database of Connect properties 

• Once you have selected a property, you can preview the content and edit the descriptions

• Pressing preview will open the hotel information in a new tab for you to view

• Pressing edit allows you to edit the long & short description that your customers will see

• You can see the default text and can add your own if required

Adding a Vamoos Connect property to a Trip

• Go to your Vamoos List and click on a trip to open it up

• Go to Locations in the left-hand side menu and make sure to turn ON the switch saying connect above the map

• Vamoos Connect properties are shown on the map by the orange location pointer with a V on

TOP TIP: If there are lots of properties in an area, they will be grouped together with a number, click on the number to zoom in and expand it and view all the properties

• To add the property to your locations list, simply click on the orange V and press Add Stay

• You will know which one the Vamoos Connect property is, as it is highlighted orange in the locations list below the map once added
