Library Introduction

  • The Vamoos Library allows you to store images, files and links in one location. For any pictures, documents, or websites you are likely to use on repeated Stays, add these to your library so you only ever have to upload them once.


  • To begin adding to your Library, go into your Vamoos portal and navigate to Library in the top menu.




  • To upload individual files or links, press the orange FILE button, then upload or drag the file in. 




  • To create folders, press the orange FOLDER button.




Top Tip: We recommend creating folders first if you have an idea of categories you may break Library items into. These can be location-based, information-based, etc.



  • Move files into folders or edit the name by pressing the 'Edit file' button in the right menu by your file. 




  • Sort a file into a folder by selecting the Folder dropdown menu and choosing the correct folder



Images

  • If there are specific or personal images you will use across multiple stays, upload these to your Library. Images should be jpg, .jpeg, or .png, as most features do not take .pdf images.


  • You can upload images from your Library when adding the General photo, photos in the Gallery, an Overlay Logo, POI photos, pictures for Inspirations, and background images for the Directory, Daily Activities, and Vouchers. 



  • For documents files and links that you will use on numerous stays, add these to the Library. Documents should be in .pdf format.


  • You can upload links or files from your Library under Actions, Directory, Daily Activities, Vouchers, and POIs.



Updating a Library Item

  • Please note, when you update a PDF document in the Library and replace it with a new file, this will update the document across all stays which you added it to from the Library.



  • If you uploaded your file straight from your desktop and did not bring it into a stay from the Library, the file will not update.


FAQs

  • Q: Can I add multiple files to a folder at once?
    A: If files have already been added, you can only move one at a time to a folder; however, if you are uploading new files, you can add multiple to a folder at once by opening the folder and adding files.
