✅ For travel companies
In this guide, you'll find our top tips and recommendations for resort travel companies to maximise your use of Vamoos!
In this article:
Documents
- Under Destination Documents, upload all the relevant information about the resort and property, such as maps, amenities, drinks and dining, entertainment, activities, and more.
- Under Travel Documents, include useful travel information such as tickets, local recommendations for the area, safety details, relevant music playlists or podcasts, etc.
Top Tip: Did you know you can rename the document sections to something villa-specific under Shared > Menus & Labels? More info here.
Locations
- When adding your locations, smaller resorts should set the resort address/entrance building as the only main location and link a property map so clients can get a detailed look.
- For larger resorts, such as ski towns, set the various lodging properties and important buildings as main locations.
Top Tip: If the exact location is not showing in the portal map, right-click the exact, zoomed-in spot on Google Maps to get precise coordinates and manually add the location.
- When adding Points of Interest (POIs), these will depend on the amenities and features at the resort. For example, if you offer a range of dining options, you likely will not want to add lots of local restaurants and encourage your guests to eat off-property.
- For smaller resorts, add local hotspots and attractions not offered within the resort, such as swimming spots and beaches, or necessities such as pharmacies and supermarkets.
- For larger resorts and resort towns, use POIs to mark additional fixtures of the resort, such as restaurants and shops.
Top Tip: Set POIs to a 10km range, as you want guests to enjoy the resort and not go far off the property.

Storyboard
- When making your Storyboard, hide the dates for the frames and use this as an information board about the property.
- Add details about the various features and amenities of the resort. Include resort maps, town/area guides, room or chalet details, activities on offer, drinks and dining, general amenities, safety, entertainment, shopping, rentals and bookings, and other relevant attractions you want to highlight.
- Under each frame, upload the relevant documents for each section, such as dining menus, service booking links, maps, and more.
Notifications
- Use Notifications to stay connected to your guests throughout their trip and bring them back to Vamoos.
- Send out quick reminders of dining reservations, booked services, and daily activities to keep guests informed. Attach links to restaurant menus, tickets, and booking sites.
- Send a notification each morning to your guests with a schedule of all on-offer activities on offer for the day. Add a booking link so your guests can sign up straight from the notification.
- Send a notification each morning to your guests with a schedule of all on-offer activities on offer for the day. Add a booking link so your guests can sign up straight from the notification.
Top Tip: Schedule a notification one to two days after their trip has concluded with a linked feedback form to easily gather client opinions.
Additional Tips
- If there is staff availability, turn on the Messaging feature during your guests' trip to quickly answer any questions they may have.
- You can use Inspirations in two ways. For the first, advertise another property or trip you have on offer, whether this be a winter trip for your summer travellers or a different resort next year in a new destination.
Top Tip: As Inspirations has a direct contact button, you can also use this feature to upsell services on offer at the resort, such as water-sport activities, massage and spa treatments, or a private chef.
