✅ For travel companies
In this guide, you'll find our top tips and recommendations for villa travel companies to maximise your use of Vamoos!
In this article:
Documents
- Under Travel Documents, upload anything relevant to the travel process and trip experience, such as packing lists, city guides, local recommendations, top restaurants, transportation info, and attraction tickets.
- Under Destination Documents, include information about the villa. Add a welcome guide, house rules, internet access, property amenities, services on offer, etc.
Top Tip: Did you know you can rename the document sections to something villa-specific under Shared > Menus & Labels? More info here.
Locations
- For a trip without a day-to-day itinerary, add the villa address as the sole primary location.
- On trips with a daily schedule, add the villa address and any major set stops as the primary locations.
- When adding Points of Interest (POIs), include lots of local recommendations such as restaurants, shops, historical sites, attractions, bars, and more. For itinerary-based trips, also add any smaller set stops on the agenda.
- Your clients will likely stay close to the villa, so set the POI range to 30km or 10km.
Storyboard
- You can use the Storyboard in two ways to highlight your villa.
- If you are sending clients on an all-experience-covered trip, keep dates on and make a day-to-day itinerary.
- If you have too much information in one day, split this into multiple Storyboard frames and use the reorder tool to move both frames into one day, i.e. one frame for flight information or experience details, and one frame for the overall daily schedule.
- Add relevant documents under each frame or day, such as dining menus, area guides, or tickets.
- The second option is to hide dates and use the Storyboard as an information board about the villa and trip details.
- Go in-depth about the features and amenities of the villa. Create frames with welcome info, facility information, room specifics, drinks and dining, services on offer, an area guide, etc.
Notifications
- Send out notifications to keep guests informed on important details and updates throughout their trip. Begin the trip with a welcome notification.
- For trips with a daily itinerary, notify travellers each morning with a brief overview of any transfers, experiences, and bookings they have for the day.
- While clients are enjoying time at the villa, use notifications to remind them of additional services you have on offer, such as chef or spa bookings. Include a link to the booking form.
Top Tip: Schedule a notification one to two days after a trip has concluded with a linked feedback form to easily gather client opinions.
Additional Tips
- Turn on Messaging during your clients' trip to easily answer any quick questions they may have.
- You can use Inspirations in two ways. For the first, advertise another property or trip you have on offer, whether this be a winter trip for your summer travellers or a different villa next year in a new destination.
Top Tip: As Inspirations has a direct contact button, you can also use this feature to upsell services on offer at the resort, such as water-sport activities, massage and spa treatments, or a private chef.
